What is the Best Nootropic Stack for Lucid Dreaming?

If you’re wanting to have complex and extremely vivid lucid dreams, the best way is to stack a combination of nootropics with certain properties induce them.  yes, that is something that you can do!

This will create synergy and boost your results.  A nootropic stack (if you don’t already know) is a combination of nootropics that work together to boost each substances’ effectiveness, giving you a better outcome and faster results!

The important thing to keep in mind when concocting a lucid dreaming nootropic stack, is that not only will you need to consume the right supplement stack combination, but you’ll also need to follow certain nightly habits to consistently induce lucid dreams.

Another thing to keep in mind is that certain nootropics may induce nightmares more often than pleasant dreams.

Obviously you don’t want that, unless maybe you’re one of the few out there that actually enjoy being terrified in your sleep…

There isn’t really any scientific evidence to prove this though. Only anecdotal seems to be out there currenty.

For instance, many people believe that serotonin increases the number of nightmares that you have, while acetylcholine increases your vivid pleasant dreams.

In this case, the best lucid dreams stack would be the one that raises acetylcholine (ACh) levels.  Acetylcholine is a brain chemical (known as a neurotransmitter that helps with learning, memory, contemplation, and other brain functions. 

In other words, you want a stack that would increase the amount of acetylcholine that your brain releases.

This would help to ensure you would have more vivid, colorful, and pleasant lucid dreams.

Still, there’s no need to make serotonin and dopamine out to be villains.

They’re actually crucial to other parts of your sleep, which means that you shouldn’t necessarily stop taking any nootropics which trigger your brain to release more of them.

Below, I’m going to lay out several of the  best nootropic stacks to help you have more lucid dreams.

Just keep in mind that you’ll need to do some research on your own, and see which nootropic substances are safe for you to try out in your lucid dream stack.

You’ll also need to learn how to take them properly.  Not only the correct dosages, but also the time during the day that you should be taking each supplement.

If done properly, these stacks can improve upon the quality of sleep that you’re currently getting, and also help you to have more control over what you dream.  Not to mention, a better experience overall!

All you need to do is to figure out the best combination of nootopics and techniques that works best for you.  

As you may know, each individual person reacts completely different to each nootropic substance (or stack of nootropics), so it is important to test them out for yourself,  and keep a close eye on / track your results.

This is the secret to have more lucid dreams.

Lucid Dream Stack #1) Valerian Root + Melatonin

Valerian root is a great sleep inducer.

It’s also relaxing and soothing, which is important to make you fall asleep.  On its own, valerian root can help you have a more vivid dream.  But, when combined with melatonin, it increases your chances exponentially.

This is great for people that have insomnia problems and stress related to:

  • lack of sleep
  • Colorful dreams
  • More vivid dreams
  • Bizarre dreams
  • Better sleep

This powerful nootropic combination can bring your current dreams to the next level.

Not only are you going to be able to increase the chances of remembering what you’ve dreamed, but you’ll also get to control the direction and content of it!

Your sleep quality will also improve due to the use of melatonin, which is a natural sleep regulator.

So, after you’ve made sure that you can take this stack safely, and it doesn’t interfere with any other medications you are taking etc.., you can give it a try and see if it works for your sleep.

Lucid Dream Stack #2) Choline Bitartrate + Vitamin B5

Choline Bitartrate, when combined with vitamin B5, is converted into acetylcholine.

As you now know, this is a neurotransmitter that is connected to sleeping in general, as well as producing more vivid dreams.

This makes it one of the best stack options for lucid dreaming.

Although your body naturally produces acetylcholine, due to your diet you probably don’t get enough to induce many noticeable vivid dreams.

The only way to increase the amount of acetylcholine that your brain releases are to take certain nootropics.  In this case, combining choline bitartrate with vitamin B5 can be the solution.

So, what you need to do is to take this combination 5 hours after you’ve fallen asleep.

You must already be familiar with this technique.  All you have to do is to set the alarm clock to 5 hours after you’ve gone to bed. 

Then, you wake up and take the stack.

After that, you just have to go back to sleep again.  That’s how you can induce lucid dreams with this specific nootropic stack.

Lucid Dreaming Stack #3) Passionflower + Choline Bitartrate + Chinese Club Moss

This is another interesting stack option.

The passionflower is great to fight insomnia and produce a more relaxing state of the mind.  If you can’t fall asleep due to stress or anxiety, passionflower will help you out tremendously.

Then, you have choline bitartrate and chiness club moss (also known as huperzine-a, which both induce better sleep quality and more vivid dreams.

Another thing that they promote is more density in your sleep stages.

This means that your REM sleep (Rapid Eye Movement Cycle), which is when you dream, is longer and has better quality.

If you’ve ever dreamed, yet could feel that part of your brain was still awake (like your sleep was light and not deep) this was because your REM sleep wasn’t dense enough.

You can take this lucid dreaming nootropic stack to improve the quality of your sleep, increase your sleep stages, and improve the colorfulness of your dreams.

This is just one step before having lucid dreams all the time with this stack.

Best Nootropic Stack for Lucid Dreams #4) 5-HTP + Mugwort + Huperzine A!

5-HTP is hydroxytryptophan.

This is a form of tryptophan (you know the same chemical that’s in turkey that makes you sleepy after you eat it), which is converted into serotonin.

The mugwort and huperzine A (chinese club moss) are another combination that helps you have more vivid dreams.

Now, although serotonin may be related to nightmares, it’s what allows you to have more vivid and bizarre dreams, so it’s a much needed part to paint a different color in what you dream.

Basically, your won’t be as complex and vivid without it.

This nootropic combination is great to induce not only vivid dreams, but also super intense ones.

It can make your dreams feel like reality in a healthy amount.

It can also improve the quality of your sleep since 5-HTP helps with insomnia as well.  It works best when taken 5 hours after you’ve gone to bed, but you can also take it right before.

The important thing to note is that you can either take it right when you’re going to bed, or using the 5 hours later alarm technique.

Either way, this will increase your vivid dreams and also give you more control of what you dream.  Test out the 2 different timing methods to see which one works best for you.

Lucid Stack #5) Alpha GPC + Phosphatidylcholine

This is another acetylcholine precursor.

It’ll not only increase your vivid / lucid dreams, but also your “feel good” dreams.

This is yet another stack that’s best taken 5 hours after you’ve fallen asleep. Most stacks are best taken this way.

The reason is that this is the best-known technique to induce lucid dreams.  It may be tricky at first, but once you get the hang of it, it will be worth it.

It’ll also increase your chances of recalling your dreams.

Side Note: If recalling your dreams if the goal, be sure to sleep with a pen and notepad beside you, and write down as much information about the dream you just had right when you wake up in the morning.  If you make this a habot, you’ll trin your brain to remember your dreams MUCH easier and just about every single time.
