14 Ways to Increase Gamma Brain Waves (& Reach a Hyper-Focused Bliss State!)

If you want to put yourself on a winning path, and be the best version of yourself possible, you may want to particularly pay close attention to this one! 

I’m going to share some ways to increase gamma brain waves, what they are, and why it can give you a real cognitive edge.

If you’re anything like me, you probably spend a lot of time trying to find ways to increase your productivity and boost your cognitive abilities in order to get closer to reaching your set goals.

For me, this is a daily thing. 

I guess you could say I fit in the “obsessed” category when it comes to this topic, but I am okay with that.  You may or may not be as overkill as I am, but one thing is for sure…

Gamma brainwaves are a very important element if you’re looking to improve your overall cognitive function and maximize your productivity. 

These types of brain waves are also important for attention, focus, memory, problem solving, spatial ability, and even coordination. 

In this article, I will share 14 of the most effective ways to increase your gamma brain waves

But before that, I want to quickly touch more on what gamma waves in your brain actually are, and how they operate, so let’s just jump right in!

What exactly are gamma brain waves, and why are they so important for cognitive enhancement?

Let’s briefly go over why you should focus on increasing your gamma brain waves in the first place.

Gamma brainwaves are a type of brainwave that is associated with high cognitive activity.

14)  Get off the couch!  Be more active with exercise and / or moderate physical activities

Being more active with exercise or moderate physical activities can help increase gamma brain waves.

Even relatively short bouts of physical activity (such as walking for 30 minutes) can increase gamma brain waves in healthy individuals.

This is likely due to the release of endorphins, which are hormones that play an important role in happiness and stress relief.
